Warwick sits on the M40 at junctions 13, 14 and 15 and on the A46 dual carriageway between Coventry and Stratford-upon-Avon. That position has brought a run of company head offices to a town better known for its castle.
On the Wedgnock Industrial Estate in the north of the town, IBM, Wolseley UK and Volvo Group UK have bases close to the A46. Regional offices of Bridgestone, Calor Gas, Kantar and Delphi Automotive add to the list.
South of the centre, Warwick Technology Park has been National Grid's UK headquarters since November 2004, with Phillips 66 and JET among its other occupiers. Warwick Hospital, on Lakin Road, is building a new main entrance and an elective hub.
The town has two stations on the Chiltern Main Line, Warwick and Warwick Parkway. Vans can use several council car parks in the town as well as private ones at the station and the castle. The Grand Union Canal passes through it too. Jaguar Land Rover's Gaydon Centre lies further south, within a mile of junction 12 of the M40.
