Room by room
Bedrooms for nine
Three king-size beds, two single beds in the fourth bedroom and a sofa bed downstairs. Beds are made up before you arrive and towels are laid out.
A room of your own
Up in the roof, under a sloping ceiling and a dormer window, the largest bedroom has a private shower room and a 43-inch Smart TV, away from the rest of the house.
Family bathroom
The other three bedrooms share a family bathroom with a bath, a shower and a glass screen.
Garden and kitchen
French doors lead from the living room, with its 55-inch Smart TV and Netflix, to an enclosed garden. The fitted kitchen has a built-in fridge, a kettle and a toaster, plus pans, utensils, crockery and glasses.
Laundry
A built-in washing machine, a steam iron and an ironing board, so work clothes are washed and pressed at the house rather than at a launderette.
Parking
Parking is free on the street outside, with no permit or car park to pay for at the end of a shift.
House rules: No smoking inside, no parties or events and no pets.
Who Stoke House suits
Clinicians and agency staff on placement at University Hospital Coventry, about 3 miles by road, get a home with a kitchen for meals at odd hours. A family moving to the city, or out of its own home after a flood, a fire or a leak, gets four bedrooms and a garden while the move or the repairs happen.
Families visiting Coventry University, about a mile away, have room for everyone. Its neighbour Stoke Lodge is laid out the same, so a party of up to 18 can stay next door to each other.
