As the county town, Warwick is the seat of Warwickshire County Council, whose headquarters fill the Shire Hall buildings between Market Place and Northgate Street. Warwick Town Council meets at the Court House on Jury Street, finished in 1731.

Its place between the north-south and east-west motorways has persuaded a string of firms to base their head offices here. The lingerie company Bravissimo has its head office here, Phillips 66 and its JET petrol stations have an office on the technology park and National Grid moved its UK headquarters to Warwick Technology Park, near the A452, in November 2004.

Warwick Gates, a late-1990s estate in Heathcote to the south-east, combines new homes with a business park. The Tachbrook Park and Heathcote industrial estates sit alongside. Warwick Chamber of Trade promotes the town to visitors, residents and businesses.

Humber Hub is about 11 miles by road from Warwick, Stoke Lodge and Stoke House about 12 miles and Sullivan Heights about 14 miles. A visiting team gets one house and one pro-forma invoice with its purchase-order number, paid before the stay, rather than separate hotel bills to reconcile.
