Sullivan Heights
3 bedrooms · 1 bathroom · sleeps 6 · Upper Stoke
The nearest home to Nuneaton: about 8 miles by road.

Nuneaton is the largest town in Warwickshire and still growing. A whole house in Coventry gives a family a base while the move settles.
Nuneaton had 88,813 residents at the 2021 census, which makes it the biggest town in the county. Counted with the large villages of Bulkington and Hartshill, the built-up area held 99,372 people.
Much of the town was built after the war. About 2,500 council houses went up in the 1950s, the largest group at Camp Hill, where 1,400 were finished by 1956. Later growth came through private estates at Weddington, St Nicolas Park, Whitestone and Stockingford. The county council has proposed a Nuneaton Parkway station between Nuneaton and Hinckley. The Leicestershire border, marked by the A5 on the line of Watling Street, runs about 2 miles north-east of the centre. King Edward VI College, founded as a grammar school under a royal charter of 1552, is the town's sixth form college.
While a purchase goes through or a rental is found, Sullivan Heights is about 8 miles away. Every house comes furnished with linen, towels, a kitchen and a washing machine, so there is nothing to set up.
Nuneaton is partly a commuter town for Coventry and Birmingham. Its places of worship reflect a varied town: the medieval church of St Nicolas, All Saints' at Chilvers Coton where George Eliot worshipped, a mosque on Frank Street, two gurdwaras and two Hindu temples, one opened in 2021 in a former Methodist chapel in Stockingford.
