University visitor accommodation for Kenilworth

Kenilworth is the nearest town to the University of Warwick, whose main campus lies 2.5 miles north at Gibbet Hill on Coventry's south-west edge. Founded in 1965, the university had more than 28,000 students by the end of 2023 and Warwick Arts Centre, on the main campus, is the largest venue of its kind in the UK outside London.

Families arriving for a graduation can combine the ceremony with a day in Kenilworth: the castle ruins, Abbey Fields and the town's restaurants are close by. The Talisman Theatre, founded in 1942 and in its 156-seat home on Barrow Road since 1969, stages around nine shows a year.

Stoke Lodge and Stoke House are about 5 miles by road from the University of Warwick, Humber Hub about 6 miles and Sullivan Heights about 7 miles. Coventry University, in the city centre, is about a mile from Humber Hub, Stoke Lodge and Stoke House, so a family with children at both universities can visit each easily.

A whole house is the easy way to bring grandparents and brothers and sisters for graduation week: one living room, one kitchen and free parking. Visiting researchers and lecturers can stay for a term, with Wi-Fi in every house and a lower nightly rate on longer bookings.

Kenilworth station, reopened in 2018, links the town to Coventry and Leamington Spa if part of the family arrives by train.
