Relocation accommodation for Daventry

Daventry had 25,026 people in 2011 and 28,123 at the 2021 census, the sixth largest town in Northamptonshire. Its estates include Drayton, Middlemore Farm, Lang Farm, Ashby Fields, Royal Oak, Stefen Hill, The Grange, Southbrook and The Headlands, with Monksmoor Park and Malabar the newest.

Families can choose between two secondary schools, the Parker E-ACT Academy to the north and Danetre and Southbrook Learning Village to the east, both with sixth forms, plus the Daventry campus of Northampton College. Monksmoor Park Church of England Primary School opened in September 2018.

Until the 1950s the town had only about 4,000 people, so its small historic core of High Street, Market Place, New Street and Sheaf Street is a conservation area surrounded by much newer housing. Daventry has had its own town council since 2003, with 16 councillors across four wards.

While you house-hunt, Humber Hub is about 18 miles away along the A45. Every house is furnished, with the bills and council tax paid.

The overspill plan agreed between Birmingham, Daventry and Northamptonshire was meant to run for 30 years, but Birmingham pulled out in 1976.

The A361 runs north to Kilsby for junction 18 of the M1 and south-west to Banbury. Daventry Country Park adds fitness equipment and marked walks.
