Westwood Heath is a suburb in the south-west of Coventry and is counted among the city's most prosperous districts. Cannon Park and Canley lie on one side, Tile Hill to the north, Tile Hill Village and the Warwickshire village of Burton Green to the west and open countryside to the south.

The University of Warwick is its neighbour to the east. The university's Westwood campus, contiguous with the main campus, holds the Centre for Professional Education, the Centre for Lifelong Learning, the Arden House conference centre, an indoor tennis centre, a running track and postgraduate facilities and residences.

Business has a foothold here too. Westwood Business Park sits within the suburb, alongside The Westwood Club and the Coventry University sports ground, so the area draws visiting staff and teams as well as students.

Its churches reflect the mix of people who live here: St John the Baptist Church and a Greek Orthodox church are both local landmarks. To the west, the HS2 route runs through rural land between Kenilworth and Coventry before crossing the A46 into the West Midlands.
