For families the schools matter most. The Hinckley School has a sixth form, Redmoor is another secondary in the town and Hastings serves Burbage, with St Martin's Catholic Academy at Stoke Golding. North Warwickshire and Hinckley College offers further education.

Green space is close at hand. Hollycroft Park, given to the town by the Atkins family in 1934, has tennis courts, a bowling green, a pitch-and-putt and a bandstand and has held Green Flag status. Brodick Park in the west of the town has been planted with trees as a nature reserve.

While the move comes together, Sullivan Heights is about 11 miles away. Every house is furnished, with the bills and council tax paid.
