Each November the town fills for one of the largest Armistice Day commemorations in the area: veterans parade through the centre with cadets, the Girls' Brigade and bands, ending with poppy wreaths laid at the war memorial. Families travel back for it from across the country.

Sport brings groups too. Bedworth Rugby Football Club fields a senior men's side, a ladies' touch team and a mini and junior section at the Old Nursery ground. The Miners' Welfare Park, opened in 1923, hosts the Bedworth parkrun on Saturday mornings and a 5k on Sundays. The Civic Hall, opened in 1973 with an arts centre attached, is the main venue in town.

Sullivan Heights is about 5 miles by road from Bedworth, Stoke Lodge and Stoke House about 6 miles and Humber Hub about 6 miles. Stoke Lodge and Stoke House sleep nine each next door to one another, Humber Hub sleeps 10 and Sullivan Heights six, so a reunion or a club weekend can share one or two kitchens.

Every house is let whole with nobody else staying. The house rules keep the street calm: no parties or events, no smoking inside and no pets.

The park also has a play area dedicated in June 2012 to Sergeant Simon Valentine, a Bedworth-born soldier of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers who died in Helmand in 2009. For a match night, the Coventry Building Society Arena is a short run south down the A444.
