Pickford Interchange
Royal London Asset Management Property broke ground on Pickford Interchange in October 2025: 645,000 sq ft of industrial, logistics and research space on 52 acres beside the A45, with Graftongate as development manager and GMI as main contractor. The first phase is nine units and 350,000 sq ft, with units from 8,266 to 121,223 sq ft. The developer's stated aim is up to 1,665 jobs.
Eastern Green
Pickford Interchange is part of Eastern Green, a 435-acre urban extension the council has programmed from 2019 to 2039. It is planned to hold at least 2,250 homes, a district centre, a primary school and a new A45 junction. David Wilson Homes is already selling at Pickford Gate, off Henry Bostock Road.
Cromwell Lane
Spitfire Homes started work in March 2025 on 182 homes off Cromwell Lane, near Burton Green, with two to five bedrooms and 32 per cent affordable housing.
Westwood Way
E.ON left its offices at Westwood Business Park for the city centre in October 2025. Redford Developments has bought them. Its outline application, received in May 2026, proposes up to 100 homes.
Where to stay
Our homes in Stoke are about 6 miles by road from Pickford Interchange and about 6 miles from Cromwell Lane, with free parking at every house.
