Ash Green is a village in the borough of Nuneaton and Bedworth, two and a half miles south-south-east of Bedworth and four miles north of Coventry. It is bounded by the M6 to the north, the A444 to the east, Winding House Lane and Central Boulevard to the south and Keresley End to the west.

For centuries it was a hamlet in Exhall parish, centred on the crossroads of Royal Oak Lane, Vicarage Lane, Ash Green Lane and New Road. In the twentieth century it spread west and south to take in the hamlets of Newland and Neal's Green, names that now survive mainly on old maps and farm signs.

St Giles's Church, the parish church of Exhall, stands on the north-eastern edge of the village in Church Lane. The road beside it, St Giles Road, was known as Dead Lane before Victorian times because funerals passed along it.

The Breach Brook and the River Sowe are the local waterways. Ash Green is effectively an outer suburb of Coventry, with a Coventry postal address and runs straight into the city's Holbrooks district across the boundary along the old colliery railway line.

Sullivan Heights is about 4 miles by road from Ash Green, Stoke Lodge and Stoke House about 5 miles and Humber Hub about 6 miles. The M6 is close by, which helps anyone travelling in from the north.
