Coventry University
Coventry University holds its graduation ceremonies in Coventry Cathedral, where graduates hear from governors, the leadership and academics. The summer ceremonies run over five days in July, each lasting about an hour, with a celebration event after each one.
The next ceremonies for the Coventry campus and CU Coventry are set for Monday 1 to Friday 5 February 2027. The university says each college's dates will be confirmed in November 2026, when registration opens by email. It suggests arriving at least two and a half hours before your ceremony starts.
The University of Warwick
Warwick holds its degree ceremonies twice a year, in January and July. The next run is from 18 to 22 January 2027. The campus sits on the south-west edge of the city, about 6 miles by road from Humber Hub.
Plan around the confirmed date
Both universities confirm the exact day for each department a few months ahead, so wait for that before booking travel. Coventry University asks guests travelling from overseas not to book flights until the award is confirmed.
Graduation weeks are busy in the city, so check the booking box as soon as your date is known. The minimum stay depends on the dates.
Staying together
A whole house lets grandparents, parents and siblings stay under one roof, with a dining table for the celebration meal afterwards. Humber Hub sleeps 10 and is about 2 miles by road from the cathedral. Sullivan Heights sleeps six and has a garden.
