Share a whole house
A hotel prices each room; a house is priced as a whole. On 9 October 2026 we priced a group of six for a week from 7 November: £949 at Sullivan Heights booked direct, against £1,098 for three rooms at the cheapest Coventry hotel listed. For ten people over a fortnight the house came to £2,066 against £3,684 for five hotel rooms.
The bigger the group, the more a shared house saves, because every extra pair of people in a hotel means another room.
Book longer
Longer stays come in at a lower nightly rate. On the dates we checked, a fortnight cost about 5% less per night than two separate weeks. Four weeks cost about 5% less than two separate fortnights. The booking box shows the total for your exact dates before you commit.
Cook in and wash at home
Every house has a kitchen with a fridge, a kettle, a toaster and the pans to cook, so breakfast and dinner can be cooked rather than bought. A washing machine at each house means no laundry service either.
Count everything in
Parking is free at every house. Electricity, gas, water, Wi-Fi and council tax are part of the price. Coventry Cathedral asks only for a donation and the War Memorial Park and canal towpath are free, so evenings out need not cost much.
